It is with great sadness the family of Steve Erza announces his passing on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at home after a lengthy and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was 83 years of age. Steve leaves to mourn his loving wife of fifty one years, Janet; daughter, Daphne (Allan) Pollock, Regina and their children: Drew (Jessica), Alanna and Dillan; two sons, Rodney (Bonnie), Regina and their children, Kelvin, Rachael and Brett; and Darcy of Candiac; two sisters: Bertha Romanow and Frances Jurzyniec; two brothers: Mike (Vicky) Erza and Joe (Irene) Erza. Steve is also survived by his nieces, nephews and other relatives. The funeral mass will be con-celebrated in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Candiac, SK., on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Aguinaldo Fermo and Rev. Ed Hengen. Interment in the parish cemetery. Prayers will be held in the church Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. If friends so desire contributions to the Parkinson Society Saskatchewan, 103 Hospital Drive, Saskatoon, SK., S7N 0W8 or to Candiac R.C.
