On Friday, October 10, 2014, Stan Sjodin, Estevan, SK. and formerly of Kipling and Midale, SK. passed away at the age of 94 years.
The funeral service will be held in the Midale First Baptist Church, Midale, SK. on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Walter Engel and Pastor Michael White officiating.
Interment in Highland Baptist Cemetery, Kipling at approximately 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Andrew Switzer.
Stan was predeceased by his wife Gladys in 2010, his parents, Anton and Emma Sjodin, two sisters; Estelle in infancy and Virginia Anderson.
Stan is survived by his family Laura (Albert) Engel, Tim (Jackie) Sjodin; Linda (Dave) Leslie and Leah Murray, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren, mother of his children, Corrine Sjodin and his close friend Doreen Bachynski, one brother Glenn (Sylvia) Sjodin and one brother-in-law, Lorne Anderson and also his nieces and nephews.
