Geoffrey Lascelles

Geoffrey Todd Lascelles was born in Regina, then a few years later moved to Owen Sound where he grew up. As a young adult he returned to Regina with his family. He is remembered as a son, brother, dad, uncle, grandpa and friend. It was here in Regina he had 6 children. He also has three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Geoffrey Todd Lascelles was predeceased by his dad Michael Lascelles.

He is survived by his mom Phyllis Lascelles (nee Ashdohonk); brother Tim Lascelles (Linda); Geoff’s children: Christian Lascelles (Shaynna), Brendan Lascelles (Skyla Larose), Angel Lascelles (their mom Audrey Cook), Zach Lascelles, Abby Lascelles and Gabe Lascelles (their mom Tanya Baynes); grandchildren: Nalayah, Huxley and Mila Lascelles and nieces and nephews: Eli Lascelles, Dakota Walsh, Dennis, Jacob and Ethan Baynes.

He will be remembered as one who enjoyed his sports especially NHL hockey and his favourite team being the Detroit Red Wings. He also enjoyed football and cheered for the Toronto Argonauts. He could be a quieter man in larger groups but enjoyed his Metallica loud. Though your life was taken suddenly we pray that you have now found peace.

A funeral service was held in the Carry the Kettle Band Hall on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Edmund Jordan. The interment took place in the South Cemetery, Cega’kin (Carry-the-Kettle) First Nation. A reception was held in the Band Hall following the interment.
