Frank was born on a farm near Balcarres, Saskatchewan to Henry and Carrie Schill. The family settled near Lebret on their own farm in 1940. He was the eldest of four children, Gerald, Mary and Helen completed the family. Frank attended school in Invercald and Lebret.
Frank met Audrey at Camp Monahan in 1955 where both parents were employed and became close friends. They married in Lebret in 1965,lived and worked in Balcarres and then settled on their farm in 1977. Frank and Audrey were blessed with four children who were raised on the farm and inherited Frank's love of the land and animals.
Frank is survived by his sister Helen (Len) Carlson. He is also survived by his wife Audrey, and their four children and ten grandchildren:
Berniece (Deiter) Ami, Julia, Michael, and Samuel.
Christina (Jason) Catherine and James.
Michael (Leah) Heidi, Matthew, and Eric.
David (Gaylene) Lucas.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Carrie, his brother Gerald, and his sister Mary Law.
Frank will be remembered for his generous heart, his sense of humour and his love of the land.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frank's memory to the Allan Blair cancer clinic, or the Indian Head Hospital.
Prayers were held in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lebret, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass was celebrated in Sacred Heart R.C. Church on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Interment by the family at a later date.
All funeral services will be family directed.
