Clark Dwight Sangwais

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Clark Dwight Sangwais. Clark was born in Regina, SK and passed away in the Regina General Hospital at the age of 49 after a courageous battle with his health.

Clark was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Anna Rose and Young Boy Sangwais; paternal grandparents Mary Agnes and Patrick Cappo; parents Marieta Rose Sangwais and Patrick Denis Cappo; sister Carmen Lynn; children: Alexander Michael, Denise Lynn Favel and Anthony Paul Bellegarde; uncles: Clifford Ross, Albert Moses, Ernest Sheldon and Joseph George; aunts: Kathleen Anna, Rosalie (Alexson), Edna (Bunnie) and Bernadette (Lavallee).

Clark is survived by his partner Karen Bellegarde; siblings: Wanda (Terry), Cameron (Christine) and Cynthia; children: Destiny (Henry) Favel, Albert Favel, Clark Jr., Christopher, Amy McKay, Chance (Emily) Peepeetch and Celita Peepeetch; grandchildren: Alexandra, Elizabeth, Justin, Amour, Madeline, Serenity, Levi (Kashi), Kyle, Christopher, Ava, Tierra, Rylen, Elijah and Ariah; great-grandchild Emery; aunts Alice Sangwais and Josephine Cappo; traditionally adopted aunt Beatrice Laframboise and brother Peter Bunnie.

A wake was held in the Zagime Community Complex on Thursday, August 19th commencing at 4:00 p.m. with services at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Janet Sigurdson and Elder Alvin Kequahtooway officiating. The feast was held Friday, August 20th at 11:00 a.m. services followed immediately. Interment was in the Zagime Anishinabek Cemetery.
