Michael Leonard Sautter

Michael Leonard Sautter, age 69 of Wolcott, Connecticut, beloved husband of Trish (Whipp) Sautter of 35 years, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in his home. He was born in Bridgeport on July 4th, 1954, to the late William L. Sautter and Gertrude (Maloney) Sautter.

Michael was a partner/owner of J&D Oil from 1997-2012. He had many interests and passions throughout his life. He was an avid golfer and had been a member of the Farmingbury Men’s Golf Association. Michael and his wife Trish shared many adventures together during their marriage. They enjoyed traveling, exploring, and trying new things. They loved spring skiing in Colorado, tried white water rafting in Maine, scuba diving in the Bahamas, and zip lining in Alaska. Watching the sea turtles come up on the beach and lay their eggs in Trinidad and Tobago. They even tried skydiving. So many memories will be forever cherished.

Besides his loving wife Patricia, Michael is survived by his brother, Thomas Sautter of Ohio as well as a host of nephews, a niece, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother William Sautter of CT, and his sister Pat Beiner of Colorado.

A public visitation will be held on Wednesday June 26, 2024 at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd, Wolcott from 10-11 AM. A memorial service will be held at 11 am at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery on Bound Line Rd, Wolcott.
