Richard Frank Dehler, age 90, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Richard retired from the United States Navy, Central Florida School System including UCF and Central Florida Officials Association after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his children, Bill and his wife, Joanne Dehler, Cindy and her husband, Michael Singletary and James Dehler, stepchildren, Karl Backus and Clark and his wife, Cindy Backus; daughter in law, Meira; grandchildren, Sara Kyle, Jason, Xerik, Kaitlynn, Ryan, Robert, Christopher, Jeffery, William and Richard; great grandchildren, Rory, Esme, Dani, Kaylee and Billy and siblings, LaVetne Dehler, Ralph Dehler, Fred Dehler and his wife Claudette and Shirley and her husband Dennis Thompson.
Funeral Mass will be conducted on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10:30am at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5300 Old Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, FL 32792. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
