My  apologies, I  just  found out, I will make this  short,  I  been in   many places with  many people, but  one  stand  alone  and  that  is  Paul  I  wish I can be  someday  half of what  he  was, I  great  human  , Mr Paul  thank you  for  everything

Paul,

I've lost my best friend, the person I laughed with every day, ALWAYS held hands with where ever we went.
We'd been together for so long we could just look at each other and we'd know exactly what each was thinking and be able to share a giggle or a smile :)

We worked hard together and achieved a lot, had so many adventures and fabulous trips around the world and were planning to grow old together and live our days at the beach. Now I feel lost without you but am very grateful for the wonderful memories I have.

You always laughed and said you wished you had half my energy so I'm still carrying on each day, trying to smile just as you would want me too.

I know that in your own quiet way you'd be very proud to hear all the kind words that are being said about you  you deserve them, I know what a wonderful person you were, and I'm glad that others are expressing it too.

I know that you're cheering me on and sending me a big hug every day, you'd not want me to say a lot of flowery words as you knew how much I cared for you........ Just I love you and miss you so,so much.

I am heartbroken at the loss of my son. He was one in a million and was very loving and totally loveable.

His school teacher said that he would never amount to anything, but Paul proved him to be very wrong.

I can still see Paul's face when he made his surprise visits home, trying to hide behind a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me!

Going to live in America was a challenge, but he knew that he had the right woman, his dearly loved Sandra, at his side - she was his rock.

He worked hard and was very happy and together they made a success of the life they had chosen.

I will miss Paul more than words can say and I will always love him dearly. God Bless You and Keep You My Son.

I never saw much of Paul as I would like through the years because of his career in the Armed Forces, but that was the life he had chosen and the life he loved.

He served 22 years for his Queen and Country including some very difficult times in The Falklands, Bosnia,and Northern Ireland and with the United
Nations in Namibia, South Africa.

I was, and still am, very proud of him. He was always his own man, forthright, true, loving and generous.

I could not have had a better son, and I will miss him to the end of my days.

Sandra,  I will dearly miss Paul.  He taught me so much about myself and what I should try to change to be a better employee, friend, and person. He was amazing with his patience and to bring the best out in people. Everyone that walks into the shop has truly felt the loss and has expressed their sadness . You are in my prayers.

Mr. P was a man's man! My son John III looked up to him and looked forward to seeing him every week when we got haircuts. My father and I enjoyed his conversation and friendship. 

Mr. P blessed my not for profit basketball league, Triple Double Basketball Academy with his undying support when he did not have to. Mr. P was an angel living on earth for 54 years. Now he is an angel in heaven looking down over us all making sure that we are doing well. 

He will be greatly missed! We love you Mr. P.

Sandra-  words cannot express how stunned I am to hear of Paul's passing. He is a wonderful man and will be dearly missed by all.  I always look forward to my days at the shop as he always had a smile for me and everyone else.  My thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult times.

My heart breaks for you.  Seeing Paul's photo here and his amazing smile brings a smile to my face.  He was an amazing man with a huge heart for other.  I will always remember our wonderful dinners full of intimate conversations as well as how amazing he was with Barney's kids at Olympic Park.  Paul bent over backward to help others, he will truly be missed.  

I am praying for you and your family every day.  I know he is looking down on you cheering you on!

Dear Sandra-I am so sorry to hear about Paul. You and he were some of the first proprietors I met here when Baldwin Park first opened. You both even met my parents and were always so friendly. Almost every morning when I'd walk my kids to school, we would pass by and often get a smile through the window from Paul at his station there on the corner.  It made living here comforting and friendly. And while those days of walking by are gone, I could always count on a smile and a wave.  Although that familiar smile and wave wont be there, I'll still walk by and smile just the same remembering Paul.  Much love to you and your family.

I have been with Paul and Sandra since day one. That's over 11 years. It's been a great experience.

Paul was an honest, caring and truthful man in all ways. He had a special love for small children, which was greatly noticed by everyone. I especially enjoyed the many times listening to his wonderful military stories and the love for his sports cars and remote-control sailboats. He was a very hard-working boss like his wife, Sandra, and as I owned four businesses of my own, and 2 partnerships before I arrived at Kennedys, which was originally called Carrs, I know how much hard work it takes behind the scenes to be successful. Paul will always be special in the hearts of everyone. Take care. Paul we all love you.

My family is extremely sad over the loss of Paul.  My husband has been going to Kennedy's for a decade perhaps and some my fondest memories as a mother will always be the way Paul treated my children.  He was so sweet and kind and patient with them and they basically grew up knowing him!  They would beg sometimes when we drove by to stop so they could see "Mr. Paul."  It won't be the same when we bring them in for their haircuts, but know Paul left a VERY large impact on my kids and us as a family.  SO much love to his family at this sad time.  We will miss him.

Sandra my prayers are with you and the whole Norris family.  Paul was such a kindhearted man and full of life. I really enjoyed the conversations we had over the years from the Sandlake shop up until the Baldwin Park location. He will truly be missed.

Working at Baldwin Park near Kennedy's I would see Paul every morning bright and early. We used to joke because it was so quiet at that time. He was always so positive with a smile on his face. The morning is not the same without you. You are so missed.

I first met Paul and Sandra 10 years ago when I was living in Baldwin Park. I had the pleasure of being one of the original customers when the Carr's barbershop store first opened, and after my initial visit there I immediately became a member. On Fridays, often weekly, I would walk down to the shop to get a haircut and sometimes a shave. It quickly became one of my favorite places to spend time because of the great environment and culture that Paul and Sandra had created amongst the staff and clients.

It was (and still is) a place where everyone knows your name. You'd call down for an appointment, Paul or Sandra would get you scheduled on the calendar (with a pencil and paper of course), and when you arrived you were always greeted with a smile, offered something to drink, and asked how your week had been.

Being an entrepreneur and business owner myself, I had a special connection with Paul and Sandra. I've always admired and had tremendous respect for their hard work, effort, and sacrifice in immigrating to America and starting to build something from nothing. They sacrificed their time and consistently reinvested their money to build something great. A wonderful business that has given back to the Baldwin park community in such a tremendous way and allowed them to create the life they had once dreamed of for themselves back in the UK.

For those who don't know the story, when Paul and Sandra first opened the shop they commuted to Baldwin Park from Celebration each day to open the shop, would work all day, and then drive back late in the evening, six days a week. Their first living quarters were furnished with cardboard boxes for tables to start with.

But they kept going, eventually renting a home in Baldwin Park to be closer to the shop and the community they were becoming such an essential part of. And finally, after a couple years they were able to purchase their dream home - one of the rare city homes in Baldwin Park with a fourth floor roof deck for Sandra to have her rooftop garden.

Their story truly represents the values that America was founded upon. Coming here from a foreign country, working hard, and creating the life that you've always wanted for your family. They have served as a quiet and powerful example for so many who have forgotten the stories shared by their ancestors of what being an American is all about.

I was truly honored when they asked me several years ago to serve as their sponsor in pursuing their path toward American citizenship.

After agreeing to become their sponsor, one day I was sitting in the shop getting my haircut and decided to tease Sandra a bit about what exactly was in this deal for me?"

She explained the immigration strategy involved me demonstrating that I was seeking her employment with my company. I asked her if she would consider actually putting that strategy into motion, as I was seeking a new executive assistant at the time. I'll never forget that moment when her eyes lit up, she starting thinking about the possibilities, and said she'd speak with Paul that evening and call me the next day. She was quickly hired and Paul then started managing the Baldwin Park shop full time.

Now one of the many incredible benefits of employing Sandra, was that by extension... I also got to employ Paul! They have always been an inseparable pair and incredible team. :)

And whether it be one of his many many trips with the car and handcart to move our offices or my home while I've been traveling, or just to help out with one of the endless jobs to be done, Paul always did so with a smile and supported everyone around him with great enthusiasm.

I'm so grateful for getting to know him over the last decade and how much fun and laughter we've gotten to experience along the way.

Paul has always had us laughing with his hilarious stories and witty remarks, whether it be in the shop, in everyday conversation, or on one the many trips I've had the pleasure of having Paul and Sandra take with me over the last several years.

Of course, some of my favorite times with Paul have been hearing all of his great stories from the army. From his time stationed in Germany, to Northern Ireland, the Falklands, and even the training camp in Banff.  We also had wonderful conversations about cars and just a few weeks ago were out to dinner watching videos of classic Porches which Paul loved dearly. :)

The old saying "they don't make 'em like they used to is true, and absolutely applies to Paul.

Paul was one of the best men I've had the pleasure of knowing. He was taken from us too soon and I know we'll all miss him dearly... especially the love of his life, Sandra.

Everyone of us here today can say our lives are better because of the contributions they have made to us.

Paul, we thank you for everything you've done for us all. We wish you well.

Godspeed and we look forward to seeing you on the other side again one day.

We were deeply saddened to here the news that Paul had passed away,he will always be in our thoughts ,our friend forever .

It is with a heavy heart that I write this message.  When I received the news of your passing I couldn't quite believe it, and still can't to some extent.  It seems so unfair, and so awful that something like this could happen to someone like you.  Why this happened is a question without an answer, and whilst I grieve I won't focus on the loss of my Uncle, but I will strive to honour the memory of my Uncle Paul.  There are so many emotions; including sadness, that something so tragic happened to such a good person, a man that had such a big impact on my life.  After the tears, I felt disappointment that I hadn't seen you in such a long time, and that I will never get the opportunity to introduce you to my own children, to chat and catch up, and it breaks my heart that I won't see you again.  Once I began to think about how I was feeling, I began to think about what you had achieved with your life, and what made you happy.  Spending over 20 years serving your country, now that's something.  Picking up and leaving everything you had ever known behind to start a new chapter, an adventure, 5000 miles from home.  Starting a business, becoming self-sufficient, all the while standing beside your partner in Auntie Sandra is inspiring.  The sadness is there, but it's changing a small bit at a time to pride.  I'm proud of you and the fact that you accepted all challenges.  I'm proud that my life has been changed by growing up with you, and I am happy that we got the chance to meet.  I am so proud to have known you, and despite all the challenges and however fast paced your life was, you always made the time to be there for whatever was needed, and I appreciate that.  I hope you are at peace.  I hope heaven has a Grand Prix, and I hope if it does you manage to win a competition to get tickets.  I will miss you, All my love.  Mike x

We are all so sad to hear the news of Uncle Paul's passing.  So many lovely memories of him.He rescued Biscuit our dog from the pool, and slept in the van with him so we didn't get thrown out of the hotel for having a dog with us,  (because he wouldn't stop barking!)   Eleanor remembers his chuckle.

For my brother..... All of the lovely tributes are a testament to your good heart.  Always prepared to give of yourself to help others, including serving your country for over 21 yeas, demonstrating such incredible strength and bravery.  We were raised side by side, so many memories, sharing good times and bad.   A life well lived is a precious gift.  You died too young, and so unexpectedly, there are so many things that we didn't get to say.  I hope you know how much I loved you.  I want your mind to be at ease and your soul to be at rest.  I wish for you eternal peace.  Life will go on, but you will always have a place in my heart.

Paul was such a kind man.  He was a daily visitor to Publix where we all grew to love him.  He will be missed by all of us.  I am deeply saddened by his passing and pray for his wife and family.

Living in Baldwin Park, I was blessed to get to know this wonderful man. As a fellow retired Soldier, I quickly bonded with both Paul and Sandra. Regardless of his calm, easy going demeanor, people don't realize that Paul endured a great deal as a 25 year veteran of the British Army - including fighting in the Falklands War. Perhaps that was because he was a humble man that just wanted to enjoy the new life he and Sandra established in Orlando.

I have lost a friend and I am sad. But I am blessed that I knew Paul. And better for it.

May God welcome Paul with welcome arms!!
