Mark Alexander Clayton passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017. Mark was born on November 1, 1963 in Orlando, Florida to Malcolm and Mary-Damon Clayton. Mark was a third generation General Contractor and Real Estate Developer in Central Florida. In addition to his parents; Mark is survived by his loving wife Keli and their two children, Taylor and Tanner. He is also survived by his siblings; Ken (Joan) Clayton, Deedee (Bill) Warren, Craig (Barbara) Clayton, Carol (Phil) Sealy, Brant (Yvonne) Clayton along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and more. Mark grew up in Orlando and graduated from Trinity Preparatory School in 1981 and received a BBA from Mercer University in 1986. Mark loved the Lord and was a dedicated member of Faith Assembly. His artistic ability, talent and work ethic translated into the construction of many award winning custom homes. He was a past member and President of the Master Custom Builder Council, a past Board Member of Mid Florida Home Builders Association, and past Chairman of Central Florida Parade of Homes. Mark was an active volunteer for the Coalition for the Homeless, he constructed alongside the MCBC 17 villas for Give Kids the World, and was a member of the Board of Directors to the Boys and Girls Club of Eatonville. Mark loved any outdoor activity including skiing, kayaking, surfing, sailing, and fishing. He also enjoyed a fine cigar with a Perrier while playing his guitar. Mark will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando located:106 E Church Street, Orlando, FL 32801.
