Margaret “Peggy” Anne Schulke, 87 of Maitland, Florida, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020. She was born on June 17, 1933 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada to the Reverend John E. Gebhardt and Mrs. Emma I. Gebhardt.
Margaret grew up in the United States. She attended high school in Aurelia, Iowa where she met and fell in love with Merryl D. Schulke; they married on August 24, 1952, Aurelia, Iowa. She attended the University of Iowa along with her husband where she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree. She was an Occupational Therapist for many years. Margaret was active in her service to the church for several decades. She created many beautiful cross stitch pieces, enjoyed gardening and most of all she relished her time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Margaret Schulke is survived by her daughter, Carolyn S. Schulke, and grandson, Luke W. Lindenmuth. Family members also include her granddaughters: Christine N. Schneider, Kathryn S. Beed, Jennifer M. Hinsley and their families. She is pre-deceased by her daughter, Sheri A. Schulke, 2017 and son, Jeffrey T. Schulke, and husband, Merryl D. Schulke, D.D.S., 1975.
