Leslee Suzanne Umpleby

Leslee Suzanne Umpleby, formerly of Dover, Ohio, passed away on October 14, 2020. She was born on October 28, 1970. Leslee attended St. Joseph’s grade school in Dover, Ohio and graduated in 1989 from Dover High School. She then attended Akron University in Akron, Ohio. She was formerly a member of St. Jospeh’s Catholic Church in Dover, Ohio. Leslee was a former member of American Quarter Horse Association, POA Association, and a 4h member. She was a middle school cheerleader and on the dance team at Dover High School. Leslee worked at her family’s business, Leonard’s Restaurant, in Dover, Ohio, she was also a CNA, and a homemaker. Leslee was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Winter Haven, Florida where she was also a room mother for St. Joseph’s Catholic School.

Leslee was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney Umpleby and Rebecca Contini Ourant. She is survived by her three children: Jayden McKay, Justice McKay, and Dominic McKay all of Winter Haven, Florida, her sister, Lisa Wendling, brother, Leonard Umpleby, niece, Kaitlin Wendling, and nephew, Christian Wendling.

A mass was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Winter Haven, Florida on Friday, October 30, 2020 followed by a burial at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens in Auburndale, Florida Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Winter Haven, Florida where a scholarship will be set up in her name.
