Winter Haven- L. Maybell Wildmon Baxter Abbott, age 94, of Winter Haven, FL passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 due to natural causes. She was born May 23, 1917 in Alabama the daughter of Wesley Wildmon and Fannie Mae Lee Wildmon. She was a member of the Wahneta church of god. She was owner of Baxter Groceries in Waverly, FL and was in sales and marketing with convenience stores.
In addition to her parents, Maybell was preceded in death by her husbands: Brazel Odell Baxter and Noel Abbott, sons: Harold David Baxter and Carroll J. Baxter and granddaughter Angela Baxter. She is survived by grandchildren: Harold Reggie Baxter, Wayne Baxter, CJ Baxter, Trina Baxter Hancock and Vanessa Colburn, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services are Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 10 am at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven. Burial to follow in Lakeside Memorial Park, Winter Haven.
