John W. Donlon, 92, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on June 18, 2018. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 26, 1926. Mr. Donlon moved to this area in 1962 from New York. He was retired from Coca-Cola. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving in both World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Donlon was preceded in his death by his wife, Ruth Donlon. He is survived by his brother, Thomas C. Donlon of Glendale, New York, niece, Ann Marie O’Hea of Oak Island, North Carolina, nephew, Thomas P. Donlon of East Durham, New York, niece, Bernadette M. Mitarotonda of Glendale, New York, and many other loved family members.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven, Florida. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church Chapel in Winter Haven on Tuesday, June 26, at 10 a.m.
