Irene Anderson, 85, of Eagle Lake, Florida passed away on August 4, 2014 due to a stroke. She retired after 43 years with Bordo Citrus and then worked for 11 years in the cafeteria at Lake Shipp Elementary. She was a very active member at 1st Baptist Church of Eagle Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Anderson, and two sons, Gary (Kathy) and Darrell (Janie) Anderson. She is survived by six grandchildren, Michelle Criss, Corky Anderson, Kathryn Sanders, Georgeanna Anderson, Amanda Medlock, and Gary Medlock, and 5 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven on Wednesday, August 6th, from 5 to 8:30 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th, at 10 am at 1st Baptist Church of Eagle Lake.
