Hazel Hornsby Shelton, 92, of Lake Alfred passed away in Auburndale on April 13, 2016. She was born on December 16, 1923 in Lakeland, Florida and was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Edwin Shelton. She is survived by her son Kenneth E Shelton of Lake Alfred, FL and John H. Shelton of Port St. Lucie, FL, her grandchildren; Kenneth Shelton Jr. of Lake Alfred, FL, Lisa Vinson of Lake Alfred, FL, Jeff Shelton of South Carolina, and Jason Shelton of China, and her great grandchildren; Danielle Vinson, Colby Shelton, and Kayleigh Shelton all of Lake Alfred.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 18th, from 10-11 am with a funeral service following at 11am. Both will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven, Florida.
