David proudly served in the United States Army, and was a member of St. Matthew Church in Winter Haven.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rhinehart Meverden; mother, Eleanor Meverden; and brothers, George Meverden and Richard Meverden.
David is survived by his life partner, Judith A. Holden of Winter Haven, Florida; sisters, Ella Grosskreutz of West Allis, Wisconsin, Shirley Reiter, Jeanette Pesavento, and Sue Sell, all of Wausau, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Dani Holden, Joshua Holden, Kai Holden, Michael Holden, and Hannah Holden; many nieces and nephews; as well as E.J. Holden (Lauren), Sherry Holden, and David Holden (Candi).
