Wayne Reynolds passed away on December 8, 2018 at the age of 37. He was born March 3, 1981 in Orlando, Florida along with his twin sister Teka Cochonneau. He was a loving son, brother, family member and friend. Everyone that was lucky enough to meet him has a great story to tell either of his kindness, his BBQ or his agreeable nature.
Wayne graduated from West Orange High School class of ’99. After High School he graduated from West Side Vocational School with a degree in welding. This lead him to then enter Sheet Metal Workers Local 15 working with Lapin Sheet Metal. Later in his short life he transferred to working with his mother for Pam’s Plants as a plant technician.
There are many things Wayne was good at but the things that stand out the most are his impeccable BBQ skills, his ability to recall the sound of any engine that drove by the house, and his love for his family and friends.
Wayne, his brother Bryan Fullen, and mother Pam Reynolds started a BBQ team called “Porkadiculous”. Then later the addition of his cousin Erick Scott, his nephew Devin Fullen, and family friend TJ Williams. Wayne always took pride in being the leader of the smoker and was well known for delivering competition grade pork butts.
He was selfless and giving always there with a smile and a helping hand. In his life and until his last breath he took great care of his mother, their house, and any friend or neighbor in need.
While we are sad to say goodbye to Wayne we know that he is going to join his father Robert “BR” Reynolds and brother Bobby Reynolds here on earth and in heaven. He will be placed with his father and brother in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
