Terry was born in Peckville, Pennsylvania, one of three brothers. He graduated from Blakely High School and went on to enlist in the United States Army. Terry proudly served his country and was honorably discharged.
Throughout his life Terry had a passion for sports. He had a memorable football career in high school and spent most of his young adulthood coaching and officiating in youth football and baseball leagues.
Terry was happily married to Netta Polansky for 57 years. They originally settled in Rochester, New York where they raised two children, Paul and Lori. He was a dedicated family man and worked tirelessly in a long career at Eastman Kodak to provide a comfortable life. After retiring, Terry and Netta relocated to Florida where they resided together until his passing. He adored his wife, and his greatest joy was making sure she was happy and taken care of.
At 6' 1" he was a burly guy with a seemingly gruff demeanor, but this was always outshined by his big heart and corny sense of humor. He was a loyal, generous, honest man who would selflessly lend a hand to anyone in need.
Terry is survived by a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Services will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Baldwin-Fairchild Winter Garden Funeral Home. Public viewing will be held from 5:30-6:30. Service will begin at 6:30.
