Sally Wiedefeld was born in Linesville, PA, and after a brief illness, left us to be with the Lord July 22, 2018. Sally was a loving mother to her pride and joy, son Larry; as well as the most wonderful wife to husband Bill. She is also survived by mother Helen Turner, sister Sandra, brother Richard, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her father Maurice, brother Larry, and sister Sharon.
Sally grew up in the country in Linesville, PA and was a country girl at heart. Sally was a special person that lit up any room she entered. Sally was outgoing, loving, caring, and gracious to anyone she met. Sally was always willing to help anyone in need, lend an ear, or provide comforting words. Over the years, Sally helped others by volunteering at hospice, animal rescue and other groups.
Sally always kept us laughing, and could make friends with anyone. Sally had a sharp wit, and wicked sense of humor; she always had a quick, insightful, cheerful response to anyone she met. Many of us fondly remember her pranks, practical jokes, gag gifts, and ability to liven up any gathering.
Sally had a natural ability with plants, and a love of flowers; she always had the healthiest, most colorful gardens. The house and garden always had thriving plants. She created the most beautiful, eclectic wreaths, arrangements, and restored furniture.
Sally will be dearly missed by her family and friends but we are strengthened knowing that she is in the arms of the Lord. We love you Sally.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 25 from 6 – 8 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden. Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 26 at 6 PM at the funeral home.
