Joseph Vance Underwood

Joseph Vance Underwood, 58 years old suddenly went to his heavenly home on Monday, March 15th. His earthly father Vance Underwood, preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Ella Joanne Underwood, beloved sister, Elizabeth Ann Reburn, Scott Reburn (who he felt was his brother rather than a brother-in-law), his nieces and nephews, Abby Reburn, Alex Reburn, Kat Reburn, Claire Reburn and Jack Reburn.

Joe was a member of Southeast Christian Church of Louisville, KY, where he attended Faith Class and the Koinonia Class. He also assisted in delivering the Southeast Outlook papers to many people there. Since moving to Florida, he attended the Life Bridge Church and was a member of the Adult Koinonia Class there.

Joe was born in Chattanooga, TN, and lived there until 2000, when he and his parents moved to Louisville, KY to be close to his sister and her family. He was an avid Tennessee Lady Vol fan. He loved air shows and attended every one within a day’s drive.

Joe loved God and was quick to tell anyone that. His kind heart and gentle spirit will be missed by all of us.

Graveside service will be held on April 23rd at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, led by his nieces and nephews. Interment will be with his Dad there.
