Gerardo José De Leon, aged 51, passed away on September 16, 2020 at his home in Winter Garden, Florida. Gerardo was born in February 24, 1969 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to parents José De Leon (late) and Irma Ramos. Gerardo has two sisters, Irma Soto and Wanda De Leon. He graduated from Colegio Nuestra Señora de la Providencia, Monacillos in 1987. He met his wife, Cristina Fernandez, the following year in 1988 and they later married in 1994. Gerardo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1991 and received a doctorate in law school in 2000. Gerardo’s first child, Gerardo, named after himself, was born in 1996 and his second child, Gabriella, was born the following year in 1997. Gerardo was a charismatic individual that livened the mood everywhere he went. He enjoyed parties, outdoor activities, and telling jokes to everybody. He imparted both wisdom and cheers with all who knew him with a smile in his face. An excellent father, son, and husband. He will be dearly missed.
Gerardo is survived by his wife Cristina, children Gerardo and Gabriella, mother Irma, and siblings Irma and Wanda. He was preceded in death by his father, José De Leon.
