Donald "Don" Lee Young

Don was born on May 5, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Rockhurst High School. He married Charleen (Green) Young on June 10, 1961. He had a career in vending machine sales. In his spare time, he was a master gardener who also loved woodworking, gardening and cruising.

His granddaughter Jennifer Opachich and great grandson, Trey Wilt, precedes him in death.

He is survived by his loving wife, Charleen; children, Denise (Charlie) Opachich, Debbie (Al) Reaux, Diana (Dan) Wilt, and Donna (Norm) Caron; grandchildren, Brian Opachich, Laura Caron, Chuck Opachich, DJ Wilt, Nathan Reaux, Nicole (Reaux) Williams, Alexis Wilt; great grandchildren, Maddison, Wyatt, Aiden, Reagan, Andi, Charlie, and Harper, and his brothers, Larry and Glenn Young.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 428 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida 34787.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1pm on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 720 12th Street, Clermont, FL 34711.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the American Kidney Fund, www.kidneyfund.org or the American Heart Association, www.heart.org.
