Betty Jane (Fuller) Imler passed away at her home in Montverde, FL on January 29, 2013 at 85 years of age. She will be greatly missed. She was born on October 8, 1927 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Elmer and Lillian Fuller. She married Howard Imler August 26, 1946. She has two daughters, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She worked for Chillicothe Hardware as a Secretary/Bookkeeper. She moved to Florida in 1968 to own and operate the Orange Lake Motel in Orange Lake, FL. She then settled to be a housewife/homemaker and the job she enjoyed most was being a loving grandmother. She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church and also the School Librarian at Calvary Baptist Church School in Winter Garden, FL. She loved staying active in the church and being an obedient and faithful servant.
She is preceded in death by her father, Elmer David Fuller, mother, Lillian (McGill) Fuller; sister, Patricia (Fuller) Miller.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Howard Imler, her daughters: Janet L. Barnhart, Montverde, FL and Beth Ann Terrell, Brooksville, FL; her grandchildren: Scott D. Barnhart, Davenport, FL and Amy L. Cupp, Minneola, FL; her three great granddaughters: Faith, Julianne and Summer; and her two great grandsons: Bode and Samuel. She is also survived by a nephew, Bobby Miller, a niece, Nancy Lallier and many cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
Services will be held at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, Winter Garden, FL with visitation from 10 – 11 AM Saturday, February 2, 2013 and the funeral service to follow at 11 AM. Interment will follow at the Montverde Cemetery, Division and Franklin Streets in Montverde, FL.
