I want to send much love, prayers and condolences to my second family Ellis/Diaz that I grew up with when I was younger. I know today is going to be a very sad and difficult day as you say your final goodbyes to uncle JR. an amazing friend, son, uncle, brother, father and grandfather.  I will always remember his smile and the way he loved his wife and kids (family). To uncle JR. Rest easy. I pray for a healing heart to the family. I’m sorry I can’t be there but just know I am in heart. I love you all.  💔🙏🏼💐❤️😢

My heart is broken for yours. I have so many happy memories to cherish, so many holidays and celebrations over the years, and JR was always the life of the party.  I know he is smiling his big smile and dancing with Jesus today and that all pain and sorrow is no more.

My greatest memories in my childhood is growing up in the Ellis household. Made me feel like I was an Ellis! Family dinners, boat trips, graduations, birthdays, weddings, babies … I could go on. Alvin was like a second dad to me. Life won’t ever be the same. I’m so honored and blessed to know you ❤️

Alvin Jr and I had the privilege of being Godparents to Elyse, Eddy and Rosie’s daughter. We shared the love she has for us. We shared a few moments of conversations during family occasions and he was always a gentleman. Rest in Peace.JR. My sincere condolences to the Ellis family for this terrible loss.
