She was an avid homemaker and craftswoman and spent her free time creating decorations, pillows, blankets, and other memorabilia for her friends and family. She also loved spending time with her dogs, Rocky, Dozer, Axel, Vito, and Mia. Her humor left a lasting impression on all who met her, and her quick-to-smile nature was contagious to anyone who she was around. Her memory will forever bring joy to those who knew her, and her spirit will carry on through those that she touched in life.
Trina was proceeded in death by her mother Mary Carr, and her father Torino Pisegna. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Mike, who took incredible care throughout her epic battle with cancer, as well as her three adoring children: Her firstborn daughter Lea and her husband Henry, her second daughter Ali and her husband Alex, her sole son Ian, her soon to be first-born grandson Henry Cox Jr., her best friend of over 40 years Trudy Goff, as well as her siblings Tim Pisegna and Linda Williams and countless other friends and family who were lucky enough to know her.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to send donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
A celebration of life for Trina will be held Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Vogler Funeral & Cremations, 3815 Yadkinville Road, Winston Salem, NC, followed by a gathering of family and friends at 3:00 PM.
