Pat was born in Winston-Salem, NC on December 14, 1946. He resided at the Murdoch Developmental Center in Butner, NC since 1966.
Pat touched the hearts of all that had the privilege of knowing him. His smile and joy in the simple things of life reminded us to appreciate the everyday moments that we so often overlook. Pat enjoyed music (country & bluegrass), trains, car rides, taking trips and visiting with family. He loved Murdoch Center and was treated like family there all of these years. We will miss Pat, but we are so thankful that he is now with his Lord and is fully healed.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Joel and Blanche Clingman of Winston-Salem, NC. He leaves behind his cousins, David Owen (Paula) of Providence, NC, Wayne Owen (Barbara) of Blanch, NC, Jan Wall (Mike) of Semora, NC and Billy Willis of Estelle, NC.
Visitation with Celebration Reception will be held Thursday, October 17th from 12:00PM to 1:45PM at Vogler Funeral and Cremations with graveside services at 2:00PM in Forsyth Memorial Park, 3815 Yadkinville Road, Winston-Salem, NC, with Chaplain Brandon Rhodes officiating.
