Peacefully on Friday July 13, 2018 Sandra Alice Burnett passed away at the age of 53, at St. Boniface Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are sister, Chris (Greg), brothers, Brad and Stuart, sister in law, Karen. Nieces Nicole and Julie, nephews Andrew (Whitney) Dennis, Scott (Jessica), great niece Kaileigh and great nephews Darius and Kashius, and many friends. Sandra was predeceased by her parents Dennis (1971) and Frances (2001).
She attended HL Softly School, Polson School graduated from Kildonan East in 1981. Sandra was employed by WASO until her health issues forced her to retire in the summer of 2017. She enjoyed living in Transcona for many years in the L'arche Community, where she traveled, went on many outings, and community gatherings.
Funeral service Thursday July 26th 2018 at 2:00 pm Klassen Funeral Home 1897 Henderson Hwy. Private family interment to take place at a later date.
Family would like to thank staff of Simiril Oustic ànd Members of L'arche. A special thank you to Liz for being there for Sandra in her final hours.
