Mrs. Marguerite Campbell Fisher

Ellen Marguerite Fisher passed away peacefully on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 102 years of age.

She will be lovingly remembered by her family, by her sons; Keith (Charlene) and Douglas (Shirley), daughter-in-law Pat Fisher, daughter Diane (Robert) Papineau and grandchildren, Bruce (Terumi) Fisher, Jim Fisher, Audrey (Mike) Dupre, Douglas (Barb) Fisher, Keith Anderson, Shaunda (Jack) Nickart, Karen (Mike) Fleming, her great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Marguerite was predeceased by husband Roy and son-in-law Murray Anderson in 1998, son Ronnie in 2008 and daughter Valerie in 2009, She was also predeceased by mother and father Hannah and Archie Campbell, brothers, Keith and Douglas Campbell, sisters Dorothy (Ted) Crooker and Betty Later.

Before her marriage Marguerite worked for C.N.R.

Marguerite loved people and was always involved in family and social activities. Her favourite activity was dancing, but she also played tennis, bowled and later in life practiced yoga and aqua size. She loved Lake Winnipeg and over the years vacationed at Matlock, Winnipeg Beach and Gimli.

For many years Marguerite was a member of Imperial Veterans.

A memorial service will be held at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marguerite may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6
