John Peter Janzen

He is survived by his wife Laura of 25 years, his daughter Lorena and husband Norman Severson of Ottawa, Naomi and husband Marcel Simoens of Brandon, granddaughters Kayla and Kristy Simoens, stepson Matthew and wife Cheryl Klassen of Red Deer, Alberta, grandchildren Corey and wife Ashley Klassen and Rachelle.

He is survived by his brothers Henry of McCreary, Rudy and wife Olga of Calgary, Bernhard and wife Katherine of Pickering, Ontario, Ernie and wife Margaret of Rivers, Manitoba, sister-in-law Elizabeth of Winnipeg. He is also survived by his sisters Anne Goertzen of Herbert, Saskatchewan, Helena and husband Les Zachary of Summerland, British Columbia, Margaret Krueger, Penticton, British Columbia, Hilda and husband Henry Dueck, Winkler, Manitoba, and Linda Janzen of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his sister Katie Friesen in 1955, brother Jake in 2005, brothers-in-law Frank Krueger in 2010, and Jake Goertzen in 1987. He had many nieces and nephews as well.

The family thanks Dr. M. Vandramelli and hospital staff of Bethesda Hospital in Stenbach for the loving care he received.
