Nikola Trkulja

Born in Perna, Kordun on November 10, 1932. Passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at WRH Ouellette Campus, 5 days before his 83rd birthday. Beloved husband of Milka (nee Janjanin). Dear father of Nick Trkulja & his wife Jennie, Diane Danica Trkulja & Riccardo Petrozzi, all of Windsor. Loving Djeda to Daria Stamatopoulos Andrew & Zachary Trkulja. Dear brother of Ljuba of Serbia and Milka of Croatia. Nikola will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and Kumovi in Canada, Serbia, Croatia, Germany and Australia. Predeceased by his parents Stevan and Milinka (nee Klajic) and his brothers Matija and Milan. Nikola retired from the City of Windsor Public Works Dept. in 1996 after many years of dedicated service. Special thanks to Dr. Aoun, Dr. Czilli and the nursing staff of the 6th and 8th Floors of WRH Ouellette Campus for the care and compassion shown to Nikola. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223 on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., with Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are asked to gather at Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church, 1960 Meldrum Rd.for the Funeral Service on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Windsor Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial donations made to the Palliative Care Unit at Windsor Regional Hospital or to the Gracanica Church Choir would be appreciated by the family.
