Lloyd, Faith Diane (nee Davies) – (82 years). A mom, grandma, sister, friend - so loved - has gone to be with her loving Heavenly Father. We will miss you. Faith Diane is survived by her husband: Keith Lloyd; her son Richard and daughter Gillian Lloyd-Boyle (Fred Boyle); and, her grandchildren who enriched her life with such blessings: Richard Lloyd, junior; Rose, Noel and Liam O’Dowd (mother Jennifer Maschke); and, Trevor Boyle and Brandon Boyle. She is also survived by sisters: Jacqueline Corbett; Jill Mason; Penny Richardson; and, Linda Turvey. Thank you to the staff at the Village of Aspen Lakes for all your loving care. Everyone battles their own personal struggles. Don’t give up striving to seek out answers, support, understanding, peace of mind, forgiveness. Learn to remain in the present with the ones close to you and in all relationships you build. Understand that we aren’t meant to journey through this life alone. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519) 254-3223 on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday May 18th, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. in the Anderson Chapel. Diane's Accomplishments
- Diane attended Havergal College for seven years.
- Diane attended Wellesley Hospital – Nursing School.
- Diane worked overseas in London, England.
- Upon return from England, Diane became a Royal Canadian Air Forces nursing sister. Her placements included Penhold, Alberta; training in Ontario and specifically Trenton airbase for 6 months; Moosejaw, Saskatchewan; and Sunnybrook Hospital – military wing.
- In Toronto, Diane attended Holy Trinity Church as an adult and sang in the choir.
- Diane was a long time parishioner of St. Aidan’s Anglican Church for many years; she also taught Sunday school, was a pastoral care team member, and sang in the choir.
- Diane was volunteer convenor of Hotel Dieu Hospital’s pediatrics 1987 to 1989.
- Diane returned to school to obtain her nursing refresher certification in 1990.
