Dorothy Jean Gill

GILL, Dorothy “Jean” - Passed away peacefully under the loving care of the 6th floor staff at Victoria Village; Barrie on Monday, November 19th, 2012. Jean Gill (nee Grime) formerly of Windsor was in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Gill. Loving mom of Leslie and his wife Jean of Santa Rosa, California, Douglas and his wife Valerie of Windsor, and Gary and his wife Terry of Barrie. Cherished grandmother (G-Ma) of Matthew Gill of Lion's Head, Shawn Gill of Lion's Head, Jenny-Lynn Masselis of Toronto, Julie-Anne Gill of Windsor, Daniel Gill of Windsor, Kileen Gill of Toronto, Emily Gill of Barrie and great grandmother of 5. Long time friend of Windsor Residents: Ann Rush, Marion Barton, and Grace Waldie and many others. Jean was a faithful member of Emmanuel United Church and for many years was active in various church activities including the UCW. Family and friends are invited to Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E., Windsor) for visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. including the service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012.
