Passed away on November 29, 2018 at 79 years of age in the comfort of his home. Devoted son of the late Nova Cloutier and the late Bertha Cloutier Ulch. Dear brother of Caro and husband Ken Lepain, James Cloutier and Sherry of BC and the late Richard and wife Sheila Cloutier of Calgary. Dear friend of Waseem. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dale will be missed by his feline companions Natalie and Jimmy. Dale was a teacher with the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board for 34 years. His passion was travel and he was involved with numerous travel agencies in the Windsor/Detroit area. Dale had the distinction of travelling to every continent and visiting 162 countries. Dale was a kind and generous man who deeply valued friendship. He enjoyed life and was always looking forward to his next destination. Dale wanted everyone to know that he has now embarked on the greatest trip of his life. A heartfelt Thank You to Elizabeth Passa and Francine Letourneau, Dale’s dear friends, who cared for him throughout his illness with devotion and compassion. Thank you to all of Dale’s friends who drove him to treatment, doctor’s appointments, visited with him and supported him during his illness.
Special Thanks to the VON, Saint Elizabeth Health and HCTS who made it possible for Dale to remain at home. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Ave. (519) 254-3223 on Thursday from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Prayers at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Road) from 9:30 am until the Memorial Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
