William Lester “Billy” Garmon, Jr., 80, of Bethlehem passed away Friday November 17, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Garmon was born January 4, 1943 in Dawsonville, Georgia to the late William L. Garmon, Sr. & Nina Talley. He worked as maintenance director at the Winder Housing Authority. Mr. Garmon was caring, generous, honest, hardworking and very driven. Mr. Garmon was an avid race car fan and loved working on old cars.
In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in passing by his sister, Jewell. He is survived by his son, William Boone Garmon.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia. Following the visitation will be a Graveside Service at 1:00 PM at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, 1575 Harmony Ch Rd, Dawsonville, GA.
