William Jerry Busby, 66 of Winder, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024. He was a member of The Winder Wesleyan Church, were he loved to worship his Lord in song. Jerry retired as a journeymen lineman for Davis H. Elliott Electric. He was a Native American and a member of The Navajo Nation. Jerry was an avid outdoorsman who loved leather working, fishing, hunting and spending time with his dogs.
He was predeceased by his father, Jack Busby and a brother, Gilbert Paul Busby. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Connie Holbrooks Busby of Winder; 2 children, Jeremy Busby and Amy Trivett of Lancing, NC; his mother, Lucy Hall of Independence, VA; a brother, Bo Busby of Independence; two sisters, Helen Meachum and Anita Woods of Independence; grandchildren, Montana Ham, Kim and Daniel Busby and a great-grandchild, Carter Busby.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at 1PM Saturday, August 10, 2024 at The Winder Wesleyan Church.
