Walter Daniel Moss, age 69, of Winder, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024. He was born in Griffin, Georgia to the late William and Betty Moss. Mr. Moss and his wife Lonnie moved to Winder, Georgia in 1978.Walter had a love for helping others where he served as a firefighter and first responder. In his spare time you would find him fishing.
In addition to his parents, Walter was predeceased by his brother Lanier Moss of Jackson, Georgia. He is survived by his loving wife Lonnie Mae Moss; daughters: Brandy (Josh) Chandler of Cleveland, Georgia, Heather (Josh) Thomas of Winder, Georgia, Danielle (Ricky) Phillips of Statham, Georgia, and Katie (Justin) Bagwell of Winder, Georgia; brother Tim (Debby) Moss of Jackson, Georgia; sister in law Patty Moss of Jackson, Georgia; aunt Gayle Barnes of Jackson, Georgia; and his first granddaughter on the way, Katelynn Bagwell.
