Shirley Annette Thomas, age 84, passed away July 26, 2022. She was the daughter of the late James Thomas Baker and Artie Lee Baker and the widow of the late George Wilson Thomas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children; David (Alice) Self, Timothy Self, and Kirby Thomas; brother, Leon Baker; sister, Wanda Baker; two grandchildren: Matthew Self, and Taylor (Jessie) Self; one great-grandchild, Virginia Self; and another on the way.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 at 11:00 am in Smith Memory Chapel. Rev. Matt Dibler will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
