Saundra A. McCuen

Saundra Ann McCuen, 82 of Auburn, passed away, Saturday, December 23, 2023. She was a Christian and enjoyed being a part of Snellville First Baptist Church’s online congregation. Saundra retired as a preschool teacher for Coral Springs First Baptist Church. She was a fifty plus year member of The Beta Sigma Phi Women’s Sorority, where she was past president after holding multiple other offices and positions over the years. Crafting was Saundra’s passion and she loved sharing her knowledge of it with all of her friends and family.

Saundra was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Dwight and Virginia Day Glass; Her loving husband of 54 years, Jerry Harper McCuen and three brothers, Bill, Dick and Ted Glass. She is survived by her sons, Jerry McCuen (Stella) of Land O Lakes, FL and Rickey McCuen of Auburn; her daughter, Sue Troino (Michael) of Auburn; grandchildren, Christine and Mitch McCuen, Anthony, Nick, Andy and Lacy Troino, Seth and Caleb McCuen and great-grandchildren, Ayden and Ethan Berger, Elliana Troino and Gwen McCuen.

Visitation will be held from 7PM until 9PM Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. Funeral services will be at 10AM Friday, December 29, 2023 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home.

She will be laid to rest with her husband at The Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
