Martha Faye Stokes

Martha Faye Stokes, age 60, of Statham, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Martha was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Nell Gunter Townsend. She was a member of Ross Chapel Baptist Church. She always made sure everyone had what they needed. She loved flowers and cooking and enjoyed cooking out. Martha loved her grandkids most of all.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her siblings: John Bradshaw, Donnie Bradshaw, Billy Bradshaw, Diane Marlow, Shirley Patrick, and Janice Bradshaw.

Martha is survived by Dale Fountain and her children: Jason Stokes, Zack (Destiny) Stokes, and Justin (Megan) Fountain; grandchildren: Lilly Stokes, Olivia Stokes, Daisy Stokes, Greyson Fountain, and Paisley Fountain; and her brother, Dave (Pam) Bradshaw.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Smith Memory Chapel. The burial will follow at Ross Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, 1180 Snows Mill Rd, Bogart, Georgia.
