I think of you often and still miss you.. What an inspiration you were to me and so many others... Rest in Peace

Sad to see that Mrs. Louise has passed.  My aunt Hilda Dailey(age 97) who was friends with Louise in Mountville where they attended High School often speaks of her.  They were both Home Demonstration agents in GA.  Hilda attended Lagrange College and then UGA.  Somehow in all of Hilda's travels and living in various places they managed to keep up with each other for many years.  When she was able they would visit.  Unfortunately due to age Hilda has stopped calling and visiting people.  She recently was telling me about the people in her graduating class (4 including her) and then Mrs. Louise who graduated the year before she did.  They must have had many adventures! Hilda will be very sad to see that her beloved friend of about 80 yrs has gone home.  

I always shed some tears when I think of you.. which is frequently.  I see a post from Cindy and automatically see you,, I miss you and pray that when my time comes I will be able to see you again... I will never forget you

Mrs. Louise Hutchins was one of the first people I met when I began working at Midway UMC. I admired, respected and came to love her as the years have passed. I was fortunate to have a couple of meaningful and lighthearted conversations with her just last year. I told her often of how her laughter reminded me of my grandmother and she always smiled and patted my hand. She had a great impact on my life though I’m sure she never knew. I feel blessed to to have crossed paths with such an exemplary woman of faith. Sending love and prayers to the family. 

She never failed to greet my children and I when we came into to church.  Always had a smile and kind words to say .  They don't make many like her anymore. She will be missed. 

Ms. Hutchins was my 6th grade teacher and long term family friend. I will never forget how she pronounced the letter r and I have a great memory of her giving a class assignment with instructions  to carefully read the instructions. The only person who completed the assignment correctly was Allison Lawrence (Healan) for the last sentence of instructions said read entire paper prior to starting work. The last sentence of assignment said to turn in paper without writing anything on the paper except your name. All of us except Allison had been quickly trying to answer all the questions. She taught love, patience and persistence. She and Dorsey have left some mighty big shoes to fill in the Carl community.   My dad, Dorsey and William were there to welcome her home when God said “well done my good and faithful servant.” The impact this family had in this world is enormous. God comfort and keep you during this time.

Ms. Louise was a special friend to our family.  When Mom moved to Georgia, she became her best friend and sister and her family become ours as well.  They had such fun together laughing and putting up vegetables.  So sorry for loss, God needed another angel and she is singing in the heavenly choir with loved ones who have gone before.  Will miss visiting with her.  She was a wonderful lady and made all feel welcome, exuded kindness to all and her faith was an integral part of her being.  She left a legacy and made this world a better place for being here.  

Louise Hutchins dominated every room she entered,  not by force or agressivness but by love, kindness, plus gentle and quiet authority,  Her integrity inspired all who knew her. She was the epitome of a lady to be admired and respected. Few women have had as much impact on my life as Louise Hutchins. She encouraged me become a better me, a me as the Lord intended. She taught by example: loving the Lord, loving her family and those of us she added to her family, hard work, self sacrifice and devotion to the land she held so dear. The world will not be the same without her here but it is a better place because she was here.

Aunt Louise was my aunt as well as my Rock. Most of my favorite memories have been of Christmas Dinners , Thanksgiving on the farm, and what fun we had with our Cousins, Dorsey Jr., William "Willie"", and Joe!!  My family and I loved this family so much! Our Dad was Uncle Dorsey's brother. A generation has now gone, but we are so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful family. Margie Hutchins Stogner. 



This world has lost one beautiful person... she leaves behind a beautiful family and friends that will never forget her... but I can also  see her meeting with family and friends who have already gone.. I know she is resting in the arms of Jesus. My deepest and most sincere sympathy to all.

Mrs. Hutchins was a great lady. She was my 7th grade teacher. My Paw Paw was a bus driver and custodian at the school during that time. He had a heart attack at the school, cutting the grass. He died there and she brought me to the office and  got me a ride home. She  came to his viewing and funeral and helped me through one of the hardest times of my life as it was my first experience with the death of someone close to me. This was in 1970 at Dacula Elem. She was a great lady. I think of her often and fondly. 

Mrs Hutchins was my 7th grade teacher at Dacula.  She was a wonderful teacher and taught us about life outside of her classes that she taught us.  She was one of the reasons that I made it to literary in spelling.  Great teacher and lady.

One of my very favorite teachers!  I had Mrs. Hutchins in 7th grade,  so you can see what an impression she made within my memory, as that was 53 years ago.  Such a wonderful and caring lady! 

Mrs. Hutchins was our 7th grade teacher when we lost a classmate in a vehicle accident. She walked our class thru the grief and sadness and helped us so much. She was an excellent teacher and mentor. I am so thankful that she was our friend.

Joe, I am so saddened to hear your Mom has passed.  I remember the pound cakes she baked and you shared with us at the hospital.  I know there had to be a joyous reunion in heaven with your parents being together again.  Prayers for peace & comfort.
