Lisa Ann Pruitt

Lisa Ann Pruitt, age 57, of Martin, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023. She was born in Charleston, South Carolina to the late John C. Folks and Shirley Jean Capps Folks. She was a high school graduate. Lisa was a Baptist. She loved everybody and she loved being at home. Even though she had worked at the Walmart Distribution Center and McLane Distribution Center, her favorite job was as a homemaker. She was a loving mother and caregiver to her son, Brian Wall, who passed away with Leukemia. Her husband Doug and her cat "Tommy" were her life.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 21 years, Doug Pruitt of Martin. She is also survived by her step children: Cody Pruitt of Martin, and Carly Pruitt of Toccoa; Brother, Timothy Ray "Ricky" (Marcie) Folks of Carrollton; sisters: Mary Ann (Michael) Holcomb of Statham, and Lavonda (Mack Martin) Proveaux of Hartwell; four step grandchildren, one nephew, three nieces and three great nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in Smith Memory Chapel. Lisa will be laid to rest beside her son at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
