Joseph Glynn Martin, age 65, of Rome, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024. He was born on October 7, 1958 to Frances and Roy Martin, Sr. Joseph's daughters said in his free time he loved reading, caring for animals, telling stories and jokes, gardening, and watching western shows. He made sure to attend church and to spend time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by three sisters: Laura Ferguson, Louise Aldridge, and Dorothy Jones.
He is survived by his two daughters: Jeanie (Louis) McElreath and Sheena Hamachek; brother, Roy Martin, Jr.; sister, Ann Tarpley; grandchildren: Hallie Stamper, Wesley Williams, Jakob Hamachek, and Kaleb Hamachek; and great granddaughter, Delainey Stamper.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Fort Yargo State Park at 2:00 PM.
