Douglas Richard "Ricky" Skinner

Douglas Richard "Ricky" Skinner, age 62, of Statham, GA passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023. He was born in Fulton County. Ricky was a Godly man and attended Hope Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and father in law and wonderful PawPaw to his grandchildren. He was a plumber for All American Plumbing. When not working, he was an outdoorsman who loved camping and fishing. He loved Ford Mustangs, especially his 1968.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Skinner. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Hilda Kendrick Skinner. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Henry of Covington; sons: Ricky (Devin) Skinner of Winder, Casey (Hannah) Skinner of Danielsville, and Eli (Jessica) Skinner of Comer; daughters: Tanya (Bobby) Booth of Covington and Mendy (Jeremy) Huff of Commerce; ten grandchildren; Doug Skinner, Ricky Skinner, Grace Skinner, Elisa Huff, Jasmine Huff, Cloud Skinner, Ace Skinner, Grant Skinner, Grayson Skinner, Nathan Skinner and brothers: Allen (Brenda) Skinner of Covington, and Jamie (Peggy) Skinner of Jackson.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, November 30 from noon until 2:00 pm at Hope Baptist Church, 8 Pleasant Hill Ch Rd SE, Winder, GA. The Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm at Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Steven Smallwood officiating.
