native of Monroe and a graduate of Monroe High School. Don was a master mechanic that
could build or fix anything and retired from Certain-Teed after 37 years of service. He loved
sports, especially UGA football and spent many years at the ballfields.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Little Braswell and a brother,
Kenneth Braswell. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jackie White Braswell of
Statham; a son, Tyler Braswell (Brittany) of Leesburg; a daughter, Jill Thornton (Hunter) of
Cumming; and five grandchildren: Preslynn, Kenzie, Blake, Ryder and Arlo.
