Mrs. Betty Jean Head, age 77, of Winder, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019.
Mrs. Head is preceded in death by her husband, Milton Head; parents, George Benjamin Rooks and Ellie Teal Rooks; brothers, Harold Rooks and Jimmy Rooks; and sister, Mildred Miller.
Mrs. Head is survived by her sister, Ruth Watkins of Winder, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Head will be Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Fumea officiating. Burial will follow the service at Nazareth United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
