I miss you more than words can even express. 

Today is a year since you went to heaven and I feel like it was just yesterday.  I have so many beautiful memories but One that stands out at this moment is the lastnight you were at my House after staying with me when I came home from the hospital with Logan and you sat down and said you were going to go home the next day because You were so proud of me and how much careful care I took of him and You could tell then I was going to be a Good Mommy and you could go and know that we would be okay.  That made my heart so happy! Jokingly you said " I'm sure your Dad misses me calling for him when he walks by and saying oh nevermind". Just because you wanted to see if he would go back in to where you are.  Funny enough you did that to him so many times the last week I was with you before you went to heaven and you would giggle!   Logan and Jonny still sleep with the blankets you made them and I can especially tell when Jonny is missing you because he takes his Special rabbit you got him out of hiding and sleeps with it .  I miss you More than I could ever say!!  The memories we made even the last weeks will forever be special.  Especially,  kristal blaming me for the Brush to Deddy lol.   Holding your hand as you went to sleep at night and waking up and seeing those beautiful eyes of yours I miss so much.  I love you Your Little Dutch Girl.  

Tía Anita, mi madrina querida. Thank you for your effortless generosity, unparalleled wit, and true warmth. Growing up I loved watching the VHS recordings of cartoons you had lovingly made for Ian and Connie in the 80s or early 90s when they left the country  (I specifically remember the Care Bears). In 2016, my parents and I visited you and you insisted then I take some of your canned soups (they were delicious!) and you gifted me a little Christmas ornament you had hand-painted (a metallic pink stocking). This past December I helped my parents sort some cassette tapes in their home and found a music mix you made them years ago with a handwritten note on the box. It made me smile. In February I was blessed to visit you and Tim and share some Venezuelan food with you as you joked with my mom and dad. Tim told me about  some of the beautiful plants you were growing in your apartment and you gifted me an indoor LED lamp so I too can create a peaceful indoor garden. Thank you again. I promise to grow bright and elegant plants like yours in a corner of my home in your memory. Rest In Peace, tía.  I love you.

 Comadre, cuñada: You loved me even before you met me, that is why I will never forget your first hug. 
You have always been such a genuine and honest lady.  Lucky are those who got to be loved by you; I thank God I was in that list.

You and I had few but great times together, you always took the time to make me laugh, even when you were not feeling well. I treasure so many beautiful memories while raising our kids. 

I remember when you visited us in Miami, I took you to have your first café cubano. When you got it served in the typical little cup, you laughed out loud at the tiny cup of coffee, then drank it like a shot, placed it back on the counter and shout: "HIT ME AGAIN!”

You will be missed deeply, but always in my heart

Hi my sister....just a few lines to tell you how much i love you...i admire your fortitude.... I'm your biggest fan sister....remember when i told you were my role model...i looked up to you...and i still do....you are so strong sister..i have always admired you...i love you....i texted this simple message to you on June 6....and i'm so happy you read it.....your bother who will never forget you....see you soon my sister

Anita, My sister and my friend. Now you are with our Lord  Yahshua.  I will hold tight to every sweet moment we shared together. When I was a little girl, all I ever wanted was to be with you.  After we were both married, when the children were growing up we were inseparable. Every outing to six flags, Stone Mt., White Waters when the children were little, fun in the sun and picnic lunches.  I will never forget “The night of the 🎶Slidin’ in the Rain🎶” after a little “LuLu”. Then the kids left home and it was just us. “City Folk Sisters”...so much fun! Every sleep over; talking and laughing in the dark till all hours of the night just laying there, you on your chair because you couldn’t lay down and breathe too...and me on the sofa. And the next morning you would always gentle tap my shoulder to wake me, singing “🎶I’m not touchin’ you🎵”.  We had our little inside jokes...I loved that we had those, not because it kept others out but because it was part of the silly little things that make sisters; friends. Every “Hey Vern” and “Vroooom...Hey Rob”. 
Every Thanksgiving Dinner we prepared together. Every cup of Dunkin ‘ Donuts coffee we shared conversation over. All the laughter and tears we shared. I will remember every single one . I am so happy to learn that  you were at peace in the end,  No one on this earth deserved that peace going home more than you. God answers prayer. There are many things I would change or do differently in my life, but not one thing ...nor one moment with you would I change or have different. I will hold you in my heart until  we meet again. I love you my sister and my friend, always have and always will.  

She was the best mama and nanny ever. I will forever miss making her laugh and seeing her eyes light up when she saw Hayden and Emery. I’m forever grateful that God blessed me with her. Not a day will go by that I won’t miss her. I’ll carry her with me in my heart, until we can be together again in Heaven. Rest in paradise mama, your work here is done.
