Mrs. Trudy Hines (Lamm) Golding

Trudy Hines (Lamm) Golding, age 77, of Wilson passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 . She was born May 23, 1945, a daughter of the late Henry Donald Hines and Bertha Mae Brogden. Trudy was also predeceased by her husband George F. Golding and a brother Donald Hines of Irving, TX.

Trudy was a graduate of Atlantic Christian College with a BSN degree and East Carolina University with a Master’s Degree in Education.

She was a registered Nurse and a Nursing Instructor at Nash Community College. Trudy was retired and enjoyed traveling, crocheting, reading, and genealogy. But most of all loved her family and animals.

She will be remembered for her compassion for others and her sense of humor.

Left to cherish her memory was her son Dale Lamm and his wife Jennifer of Wilson, her daughters, Michelle Pridgen and her husband Brian of Rock Ridge and Sherry Manning and her husband Brian of Sims, her grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth Pridgen, Morgan and Madison Lamm and Wesley Manning, her great friend Cynthia Nunes and her fur baby Phoebe.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 11 AM in the chapel of Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Service with Rev. Kevin Teague officiating. Entombment will follow the service in Evergreen Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Monday evening December 26, 2022 from 6PM to 8PM at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Service, 2704 Nash Street N., Wilson, NC 27896.
