Russell A. Taylor, also known as Jr., passed away Friday August 23, 2024 at Wilson Medical Center. He was born January 5, 1946 in Wilson County to the late Willis Alford Taylor and Sally Keen Boone Taylor and was also predeceased by two sisters, Betty Mae and Margaret and two brothers Norman Taylor and Wayne Taylor.
Jr. graduated from Rockridge High School, was a Supervisor for Wallace Murray Fiberglass, worked at Kencraft Boat Manufacturing and at C. Hawk Boat Manufacturing. His hobbies included working on cars, woodworking and building furniture.
Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Diane Krob and her husband Bobby of Wilson and Sharron Moore and her husband Kevin of Black Creek, a brother Dallas Taylor and his wife Jackie of Bailey, his grandchildren, Brandon Krob and his wife Taylor and Caleb Moore.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 11 AM in Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Coppock officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
