ROY GERALD PARRISH Roy Gerald Parrish, 80, of Wilson, beloved husband of 55 years of Elsie Gooding Parrish, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Kenneth R. Parrish; his daughter, Geri Jackson and her husband Kent, all of Wilson; his grandchildren, Amy Lewis and her husband Michael, Amanda Lee and her husband Korey, Tyler Wells and his wife Amber, and Devin Jackson and his wife Mindy. He also leaves 9 great-grandchildren, 6 sisters, and 2 brothers. He was predeceased by a brother and sister. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home.
