The family will receive friends Sunday, May 3, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St. N, Wilson, NC.
Surviving are his wife, Gail Caulk Pittman; two daughters, Allison Smith Benitez (Juan) of Raleigh and Susan Renee’ Byrd (Jeff) of Fenton, MO; two grandchildren, Ian Benitez and Lillian Byrd; and one sister, Lynn Pittman Page (Jimmie) of Beaufort, NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Marjorie Thorne Pittman.
